At Revolt World 2024, I partnered with Walmart to help bring their Black & Unlimited: The Shoutout campaign to life — a bold initiative focused on celebrating the power of community, recognition, and showing up for one another. The Shoutout campaign invites people to uplift Black creators, entrepreneurs, and innovators by simply giving them their flowers — out loud, online, and on purpose.
Through curated Instagram Stories and live event coverage, I spotlighted two featured shows during the Revolt World weekend:
- Ari Fletcher’s Cooking Show with Chef Shaiheem: A vibrant, culture-rich cooking segment that brought together food, storytelling, and Black excellence.
- RECEIPTS Live featuring Lala Milan and DDG: A dynamic live talk show that blended comedy, conversation, and real talk about success and visibility in the digital space.
My role included capturing behind-the-scenes energy, creating real-time content that reflected the vibe and mission of each event, and weaving Walmart’s Shoutout message throughout. The campaign emphasized that support isn’t always monetary — sometimes the most meaningful impact is simply using your voice to elevate someone else’s work.
This project aligned deeply with my values as a content creator: spotlighting community, centering culture, and using digital platforms not just for content, but for connection.
