For Black History Month, I was honored to be invited by Walmart to participate in a powerful roundtable discussion alongside Shaira (co-founder of Luna Magic Beauty) and Melissa (co-founder of The Lip Bar). Hosted by Walmart as part of their Black & Unlimited initiative, this conversation centered on entrepreneurship, beauty, legacy, and the unique challenges and joys of being a Black woman in the industry.
In this role, I brought my perspective as a creator and consumer, offering authentic insights into how representation in beauty and retail impacts real lives. The full roundtable video premiered on YouTube, with a 30-second highlight trailer used across Instagram to drive engagement and community conversation.
This project allowed me to step into a thought leadership space — not just showcasing product, but contributing to a larger dialogue about visibility, ownership, and culture in the beauty industry.
