Communication & Media Graduate Work – Rutgers University

M.A. in Communication and Media (Digital Media Track)
2025 – Present

Currently pursuing my second Master’s degree at Rutgers University, this time with a focus on digital media, communication ethics, and content strategy. My coursework bridges theory and practice — exploring how media shapes culture, identity, and influence in the digital age.

Featured here are key writing samples from my graduate studies, including:

  • Socratic Dialogue Papers exploring ethical dilemmas in AI-generated media, non-consensual deepfakes, and authenticity in digital storytelling. These assignments challenged me to think critically from the perspectives of creators, tech developers, and public figures, while engaging in nuanced ethical analysis.
  • AI Beauty Influencers, Racial Erasure, and the Ethics of Representation
A research paper examining virtual influencers like Shudu Gram and Lil Miquela, and their impact on real Black beauty creators. This paper explores labor, transparency, appropriation, and representation in the age of AI — and the ethical lines content creators and brands must navigate.

Together, these works demonstrate my ability to synthesize complex issues, communicate clearly across formats, and advocate for ethical, inclusive storytelling in digital spaces.
